Brosix is a team communication and internal messaging platform built for companies that value stability, ease of use, and long-term reliability.
Brosix has been around for almost 20 years. During that time, technology, work environments, and user expectations have changed significantly. What has remained constant is our focus on providing a reliable communication platform that teams can use every day without having to think about the technology behind it.
This article is a brief overview of what we worked on during the past year and the direction we are following as we move into 2026.
What happened in 2025
Integrations with thousands of other applications
We expanded Brosix automation options through new integration platforms including Make.com, Pipedream, and viaSocket. Together with Zapier and Integrately, Brosix now supports integrations through five platforms.
This makes it easier to connect Brosix to existing workflows without manual work or additional tools.
Audio and video calls in mobile apps
We added audio and video calls to our iOS and Android applications.
Teams can now communicate and make decisions from anywhere, not only from their desktops.
New pricing plans: Essentials 20 and Essentials 50
We introduced new pricing plans designed around real team sizes and usage patterns.
This provides better alignment between cost, team size, and actual needs.
20 years of Brosix
In December 2025, we marked 20 years since the registration of the brosix.com domain.
In June 2026, we mark 20 years since the official launch of the Brosix service, including the website and desktop applications that made Brosix available to teams and businesses.
These milestones reflect long-term commitment, continuity, and sustainable development.
How we approach the development of Brosix
Although Brosix is focused on providing a communication platform, delivering this reliably requires operating and maintaining a complex infrastructure of servers, applications, and communication protocols.
Over time, parts of this infrastructure need to be modernized to meet current requirements. We do this carefully and gradually, with one clear goal: our customers should not feel these changes.
Our responsibility is to handle the complexity of team communication technology, including reliability and the protection of communication data, so our customers can focus on their work and their business instead of the tools behind the scenes.
Desktop applications for Windows, Mac, and Linux
In 2025, we released a new Windows application with a modern user interface designed to meet current expectations and workflows.
At the same time, we continue to support our classic desktop applications and plan to do so for a long time. Many customers are comfortable with them, and for us, user comfort matters more than forcing change.
We are also working toward new versions of the Mac and Linux applications, following the same principles: gradual improvement, stability, and respect for existing user habits.
What we are focusing on in 2026
As we move into 2026, our focus remains clear:
- Ongoing modernization of infrastructure and communication protocols, done carefully and without disruption
- Continued emphasis on stability, reliability, and predictable behavior
- Development driven by real customer feedback and practical needs
- A cautious and responsible approach to AI
We closely follow developments around AI and explore ways it can support our customers. At the same time, we avoid approaches that would require sharing private customer communication with third-party AI providers.
In closing
Brosix has never been about rapid changes or chasing trends. Our goal is to provide a team communication platform that works consistently and predictably.
We appreciate the trust our customers have placed in us over the years and will continue to focus on steady improvements that help teams communicate better, without unnecessary complexity.
