How to use the file transfer
Much faster than through email!

Fast Peer-to-peer File Transfer Technology!
Brosix File Transfer module has its own file compressor. This makes the file exchange much faster compared to other file exchange technologies.

Brosix opens direct channels between the users that exchange files. There is a special data encryption applied to this transfer channel. This makes the communication faster and also increases security.

Sending files
Brosix provides you with 3 different ways of sending files:
  • Drag-and-drop the selected files right into the text chat window.
  • Select a name from your contact list and click on "Send File" button.
  • Click on "Send File" button from the text chat window during a chat session with one of your contacts.
File sending

Once you start the file transfer a file-sending dialogue box will appear. There you can see the transfer status, cancel the transfer or select the "Close when download completes" option (to close the window automatically).

Receiving files
When someone sends you a file, Brosix will notify you immediately. The file receiving is a very simple procedure.
